Online Education: Pro Forma Modeling with Excel

In this online introductory workshop from ULI, students are guided through the construction and manipulation of a basic multifamily investment pro forma using Microsoft Excel. The four-session program is geared toward individuals who have never completed a pro forma from scratch. Sir Bob Parker was mayor of New Zealand’s second-largest city, Christchurch, when it was devastated by a series of violent earthquakes in 2011. Close to 200 people died during the quakes, and at least 10,000 were injured. Resilient Cities Challenge Looking for Next Candidates

Last December, the Rockefeller Foundation’s 100 Resilient Cities Challenge announced the first 32 cities selected in the program, ranging from Ashkelon, Israel, to Vejle, Denmark. This month, the second round of the challenge opens: applications for the program are now available. By the end of this year, 33 more cities will have been accepted into the initiative.
