David Martin, ULI BC Governance Chair

Development Services, Trillium Project Management
Michael is a member of the Trillium Project Management team and heads up all development operations within the company. His is currently managing numerous development projects throughout the Lower Mainland including four in the Cambie Corridor. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Queen’s and an MBA from UBC Sauder School of Business. Michael started his career in commercial lending at HSBC, moving on to development management for the past eleven years working for leading development companies including Intrawest, Mosaic Homes, and most recently Concert Properties. Michael has managed all aspects of development for his projects ranging in size from $20-$400 million in real estate.
Kate Lambert, YLG Co-Chair
Urban Planner, IBI Group
Kate is an urban planner with IBI Group’s Vancouver practice. With more than ten years of experience as a planning consultant, Kate has contributed to major community planning and social policy initiatives, complex development approvals, and dynamic public engagement processes for a variety of private and public sector clients in urban and rural communities across BC and Alberta.
Kate is a Registered Professional Planner and Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners. She has been an active member of ULI BC since it’s inception, and has previously served as YLG Program Committee Chair, and YLG Chair.
Principal, DIALOG Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, Planning Inc.
As a Principal at DIALOG, Marion has a practice focused on, leading and managing the delivery of large projects, building a business with an expertise in Sports, Recreation and Wellness architecture. Marion has led the architectural delivery for a variety of large projects across Canada and the United States. One of her more recent high profile projects includes the LEED® Silver Richmond Olympic Oval venue, which was designated as the official speed skating venue for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. More recent project involvement includes Vancouver House by Westbank, and Memphis Sears Crosstown by Crosstown Development. Prior to joining DIALOG Marion was a Regional and Operations Leader for Cannon Design – Canada West and represented that firm on their Board of Directors. Specialization there was in, project management, contract negotiation, risk management, alternative delivery and merger transitions strategy. Marion has been with ULI since 2012. She was responsible, as Co-Chair for the ULI 2014 Spring Meeting held in Vancouver, to coordinate the local conference participation for 3000 delegates. Marion continues, through her involvement with ULI, to be passionate about developing healthy communities.
