The “Young Speaker Series: Your City, Your Role” is a casual gathering for like-minded professionals to connect and converse. Speakers will dive into their city’s paths, and the roles that they play in building a lively, and sustainable community.

This event of our series we will look at planning and transportation within Metro Vancouver.  Specifically, we have Shazeen Tejani, Transportation Planner with the District of North Vancouver and Kati Tamashiro, Senior Active Transportation Planning Engineer with the City of Vancouver whom will provide a brief presentation to our guests.  Following hearing from Shazeen and Kati, we will watch a short movie clip of transportation/urban planning documentaries.

Members and guests will have the opportunity to ask questions, and connect with other young professionals. Self serve popcorn and refreshments will be available for guests upon arrival and throughout the night.
