Walking Tour: Southeast False Creek

Join us and Kevin Quinlan, Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Vancouver, for a tour focused on affordable housing and planning in the Southeast False Creek area on Friday, June 2nd followed by a social at Craft Brewery. The walking tour will cover the area east of the Cambie bridge through the Olympic Village neighbourhood.
Kevin Quinlan is the Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Vancouver. A passionate city builder, Kevin has worked for eight years in the Mayor’s Office, developing and implementing policy on issues ranging from affordable housing to climate change. He believes strongly that Canadian cities are uniquely suited to lead on the challenging social and environmental issues of our time. Kevin’s work at the City has been recognized through his selection in 2013 as the first Canadian to be part of the Next City Vanguard, an annual urban leadership forum of 40 young leaders working to improve cities. He has a BA in Political Science from UBC and a Master of Urban Studies from SFU.
Following the tour, we will gather at Red Truck for an informal social.

**We will meet outside the Olympic Village Canada Line station before the tour (at 4:50pm).**
