SOLD OUT – Champions in the Spotlight – Kaye Krishna: Shaping the City from the Inside Out
Sold Out! Contact ULI BC to be placed on a waitlist.
Please join us for an engaging lunchtime discussion with Kaye Krishna, General Manager of Development, Buildings, and Licensing at the City of Vancouver.
As part of the City’s senior leadership team, Kaye has a key role in shaping the City and represents a growing number of remarkable women taking on prominent leadership roles locally and globally. Our discussion with Kaye will touch on her efforts to enable the development of vibrant, safe communities, transform development permitting and licensing and advance the City’s approach to challenges such as short term rentals, ride sharing, liquor, marijuana dispensaries and more.
As the former chief of staff and deputy commissioner for New York City’s Department of Housing and a consultant with HR&A Advisory – a US-based economic development, real estate, and planning firm, Kaye brings a diverse perspective on the challenges facing our cities and our role in moving them forward.
WLI BC is thrilled to shine the spotlight on Kaye, who was included in the Urban Land Institute’s 40 Under 40 inaugural class in 2014, which recognizes high achievers in the land use professions.
This session will be moderated by WLI Chair, Kate Lambert, Senior Planner with IBI Group.
