WLI BC’s Fireside Chats are a new series of regular, small meetups focused on bringing together women leaders in real estate to discuss pertinent, compelling topics while fostering connections, sharing knowledge and experience, and facilitating mentorship in an approachable and intimate environment.

The topic of the first instalment of WLI BC’s Fireside Chats is ‘Technology Disruption.’ This year continues the trend of a never-ending news cycle on the tech industry from booms and busts to mind-blowing advancements. For example, ChatGPT technology sits on the verge of potentially massively disrupting day-to-day work as we know it. But there are so many other technologies beyond the headlines that today’s real estate leaders should be able to discuss and understand. 

WLI BC’s inaugural Fireside Chat meeting will cut through the noise surrounding technology and how it collides with real estate through a facilitated discussion with local experts and leaders. We will look at present and past innovative projects where technology and real estate have successfully come together and we will  look into the future to discuss potential opportunities and  challenges  to ensure technology remains a power for good.
