Workshop Overview:

This intensive workshop offers an in-depth exploration of proforma modeling for real estate development projects, specifically targeting the multifamily residential sector, including both rental and strata properties.  

The course will cover a wide array of topics including revenue analysis, capitalization rates, budgeting, and the incorporation of contingencies such as construction and finance costs. Attendees will learn to evaluate land lift and land valuation, interpret appraisals, and gather the necessary information to build a robust proforma. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of how to effectively utilize traditional & non-traditional financing to construct accurate and comprehensive proformas. Advanced techniques such as sensitivity analysis, stress testing, and the calculation of key profit metrics required by investors and real estate development companies will also be discussed. By the end of the workshop, participants will be equipped to present a complete financial picture of their multifamily development projects, a critical skill for any real estate development manager.
