Durable, versatile and inherently beautiful—mass timber construction is unlocking new possibilities in the way we build. This innovative collection of 1–4 bedroom condos, lofts and townhomes is coming to Port Royal Village in New Westminster, and wants to offer ULI the opportunity to have a first look.

Aragon Properties has chosen local supplier Kalesnikoff, a Canadian CLT company based in Castlegar BC, to source the CLT for Timber House. Unlike concrete, building with mass timber has a number of environmental benefits. Life cycle assessments show that wood outperforms both steel and concrete in terms of energy, air pollution and water pollution. Not only are the homes safer and better for the environment, they are also beautifully designed.

 Timber House defines a new way to think about mass timber homes in BC – revealing the beauty and value of wood structural systems. This will allow the homes to be open-concept, deleting columns which block sightlines. The interiors at Timber House will be very unique and Scandinavian in design, paired with exposed CLT walls and ceilings in select homes. This makes the natural materials the hero of the home, and allows homeowners to celebrate the minimalistic design. homeowners to enjoy the natural decor.
