    Chris Ballard

    CEO, Passive House Canada

    Chris Ballard, CEO of Passive House Canada, has a history of supporting environmental and land use causes, most recently as the Ontario’s Minister of Environment and Climate Change implementing the government’s plan for a clean environment and a sustainable economy. He also served as the Minister of Housing and the Minister responsible for Ontario’s Poverty Reduction Strategy and Member of the Treasury Board. Chris is a past Executive Director of the 60,000 member Consumers’ Association of Canada (Ontario) and a founding board member of the Consumers Council of Canada. His leadership in journalism, communications, and public affairs include terms as President and Board member of the Public Affairs Association of Canada. “The opportunities Passive House Canada offers to make a difference at this pivotal time are tremendous – and create a responsibility to get it right. I am excited by the prospect of working with such an amazing team in collaboration with industry, government, and consumers.” About Passive House Canada: Passive House Canada/Maison Passive Canada (PHC) is a national non-profit professional association, building industry capacity and market demand for Passive House high-performance buildings. PHC facilitates the adoption of the Passive House buildings through advocacy, education, events, member services and technical advice.

    Lauren Krause

    Director - Environment, Social, + Governance (ESG) , Grosvenor

    Lauren oversees, drives and evolves sustainability at Grosvenor and works to enhance the existing focus on delivering social benefit in North America. She is leading the Company in its pursuit of achieving the World Green Building Council’s (WGBC) Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment. Additionally, Lauren steers Grosvenor’s Equality, Diversity & Inclusion committee. Lauren most recently held the position of Senior Development Manager for Grosvenor’s San Francisco office. She is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, serving on the Executive Board and on a National Product Council. She received a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.

    Patti Glass

    Vice President, Corporate Marketing and Communications, Grosvenor

    Patti is Director of Corporate Marketing & Communications for Grosvenor Americas and plays a key role helping to build Grosvenor’s brand as an active real estate operator across the US and Canada. Her efforts support the Company in earning a reputation for creating value and contributing to communities through the active management and development of high-quality properties. Prior to joining the Company in 2014, Patti spent ten years working in branding and marketing in the real estate and engineering sectors within Canada. She earned an undergraduate degree in geography and economics at the University of Victoria and her MBA at the University of Toronto. Patti is the recipient of ULI BC Women’s Leadership Initiative 2020 Outstanding Leader Award.
