    Coffee and Conversations is ULI BC’s monthly early morning coffee networking event, where all real estate professionals can drop in to meet other like-minded colleagues, further their contact base, and share thoughts and ideas about industry issues that we are all so passionate about. Developers, builders, architects, urban planners, engineers, acquisition officers, brokers, mortgage professionals, appraisers, students – all real estate focused professionals…this networking event is for you! Open to ULI members and non-members. This event is free to attend for members, $5 for non-members. Registration is required in both circumstances.
     
    This month we are delighted to have Anita Leonoff with IBI Group, join us for a coffee and conversation! The topic will be “The Changing Face of Architecture and Urban Design in Vancouver”.     Anita is the Director and Office Lead of the Vancouver office of IBI Group, one of the largest global architecture firms with over 3000+ trained architects and associated professionals within urban planning, interior design, engineering, landscape architecture and property technology.
     
    A graduate of the University of British Columbia’s Architecture program, Anita’s areas of specialty include institutional and hospitality facilities design, retail and office tenant fit-up, heritage renovations, and the management of approvals and public consultation process.
     
    During her 38 years at IBI Group, she has overseen and led some of the most high profile public and private projects across Metro Vancouver that she will speak about – including the famed Hotel Vancouver which she has overseen since the 1990s! As well there will be dynamic discussion about her career path, how the architecture profession is changing and where she sees the industry going.
