    Andrew Tong, Senior Vice President, Investments at Concert Properties will share how Concert is building and securing financing for its affordable housing projects in Vancouver and Toronto. Robyn Adamache, Client Relations, Multi-Unit Housing Solutions (BC), Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation will guide us through the CMHC’s Rental Construction Financing Initiative (RCFi), the National Housing Co-Investment Fund (NHCF), and Mortgage Loan Insurance for affordable housing (MLI Flex). In the second half of the webinar, the pair will have a discussion on CMHC’s financing options, the common submission pitfalls, how to prepare as a borrower and what key attributes matter to CMHC as a lender and insurer.

    Robyn Adamache

    Client Relations in Multi-Unit Housing, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation

    Robyn joined CMHC in 2003 and in 2007 became the Principal Market Analyst, responsible for the province’s largest housing market and serving as CMHC’s spokesperson on Metro Vancouver market trends. In 2017, Robyn took on the role of Client Relations in Multi-Unit Housing, assisting clients with financing solutions for affordable and market rental housing. Robyn holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Economic Geography, both from Simon Fraser University.

    Andrew Tong

    Chief Investment Officer – Concert Properties Ltd. | Managing Director – Concert Income Properties L, Concert Properties Ltd.

    With over 27 years at Concert, Andrew Tong has held many diverse roles in Sales & Marketing, Development, Acquisitions, and Investments. Currently, Andrew is responsible for leading the strategic planning & key operational activities of Concert’s income portfolio (office, industrial and residential rental) across Canada valued at over $3.4 billion. These activities include acquisitions, dispositions, asset and portfolio management, term financing and commercial leasing. Additionally, Andrew oversees Concert’s residential condominium and seniors land acquisitions across Canada. In October 2016, Andrew played a key role with the creation and capital raising of Concert’s CREC Commercial Fund LP, an open-ended limited partnership. The Fund includes over 70 office and industrial properties across Canada valued at over $2 billion where since inception, Andrew acts as the Fund’s Managing Director. Andrew has been responsible for over $1 billion in debt transactions for Concert’s income portfolio and has extensive relationships with institutional lenders and key housing partners such as CMHC.
