This walking tour showcases the high level of urban design and environmental performance standards of UniverCity - the growing business and residential community at SFU. Beginning with the history of the Trust, the tour will introduce attendees to the guiding principles that went into the planning and implementation of the community. The group will then go on a 1 hour walking tour of the UniverCity community, spotlighting 4 current, innovative development sites as well as the other occupied residential, commercial, and institutional buildings. The tour concludes at UniverCity’s newest foodie hotspot at Biercraft, with one complimentary beverage per attendee.

The Urban Land Institute will continue to monitor local COVID-19 trends and meet or exceed protocols mandated by local governments. By purchasing tickets to this event, you agree to abide by the health and safety measures in effect at the time of the event, which include wearing masks indoors and providing proof of vaccination status.
