The second installment of the series, environmental and heritage planning and development, will feature Aspac’s River Green masterplan with a focus on the various environmental and heritage approvals and implementation process including Environmentally Sensitive Areas, Riparian Management Areas, the Middle Arm Fraser River foreshore and diking upgrades, as well as heritage conservation initiatives. Having been active for almost 15 years, the project has successfully navigated through an ever-evolving Municipal, Provincial and Federal regulatory processes and found a comfortable balance integrating a variety of values in the development.

River Green is ASPAC’s master planned community, with over 27 acres of serene landscape and unobstructed views north and west. Over 1.1km of Richmond’s shoreline was upgraded and developed to include new multifamily homes, public parks, a board-walk, public art by local artists, infrastructure upgrades and a childcare facility.  With close proximity to Richmond’s city centre and access to Vancouver and YVR via the Dinsmore and No. 2 Road bridges, River Green blends 5-star urban sophistication into a natural wildlife haven. World-class resort amenities are integral to River Green’s design including water-gardens, indoor pool & wellness facilities, theatres, club rooms, social lounges, music rooms, fitness centres, half-court and plenty more.
