    Tim Grant – Vice President, Development at PCI Developments (www.pci-group.com) Tim is a member of PCI’s Executive Team and partner. He is responsible for its development and asset management programs. Tim is also currently Board Chair with Catalyst Community Developments Society, a not-for-profit developer of affordable housing and community spaces.

    Andy Warren

    Real Estate Research Consultant, PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH WPG.

    As the Director of Real Estate Research for PwC, Andy is responsible for monitoring all aspects of real estate, including space market fundamentals, capital market trends, regulatory changes and operational developments. For the past two years, Andrew has co-authored the US and Canadian editions of Emerging Trends in Real Estate. Andrew is a frequent speaker on issues affecting the real estate market and has also authored numerous articles for internal clients and national real estate publications. Andy brings extensive knowledge of the real estate life cycle, specifically the analysis of the potential impacts of economic fundamentals and capital market influence on the real estate industry. Andy also has significant experience developing and implementing real estate investment strategies across the risk spectrum. Prior to assuming his current role, Andy served as the Managing Director of Real Estate Research for Principal Global Investors, the fourth largest institutional real estate manager in the U.S. At Principal, Andy held a progressive level of analyst and management positions over his 25 year career, During this time Andy developed a wide range of models to predict market performance and measure risk/return analytics. He represented the research function on Principal’s flag ship separate accounts and also served as a fiduciary voting member on individual client funds focused on industrial, retail, student housing and sustainable investing. Andy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Nebraska and a Master of Science degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Iowa. He has earned the right use the Chartered Financial Analyst, CFA, designation and is a Counselor of Real Estate. He is also a member of the Appraisal Institute, and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

    Wendy Waters

    Vice President, Research Services & Strategy, GWL Realty Advisors Inc

    ULI British Columbia, Chair of Mission Advancement Wendy Waters is the Vice President Research Services & Strategy at GWL Realty Advisors (GWLRA), an institutional real estate manager with over $12 Billion in assets under management in Canada and another $4Billion in the US under the brand EverWest. Based in Vancouver, she leads the company's research function; responsibilities include providing analysis of economic, demographic and market trends in order to support long-term asset acquisition, development and management strategies in all asset classes. Wendy has been with GWLRA Research for 13 years, and was previously with Avison Young in Vancouver. She has a Ph.D. in economic history from the University of Arizona. Wendy frequently presents at ULI and other industry events as well as sits on conference panels. She was a keynote speaker at the ULI Alberta Emerging Trends event in 2017, 2018 & 2019 and moderated the ULI Emerging Trends event in Vancouver in 2019.     John Bunting

    Partner, Real Estate Leader, BC Region, PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH WPG.

    John is a senior partner in our Vancouver practice and leads PwC’s BC Region Real Estate practice. He has more than 25 years’ experience advising a wide variety of companies, with clients in the retail and consumer, real estate, manufacturing and services sectors. Prior to leading PwC’s Real Estate, practice John was PwC Vancouver’s Private Company Services Leader. John’s passion is developing great relationships with his clients and business contacts and drawing from the depth and breadth of PwC’s over 200,000 people around the world to help clients succeed. Outside work, John is active in the community and has been involved with a number of children charities including Safehaven and Proaction. In addition to being actively involved in his children's elementary school fundraising campaigns, John was most recently the BC Treasurer and National Audit Committee member for Nature Conservancy Canada, and is currently a board member and Finance Chair for Art’s Umbrella.
