    Join ULI BC’s Young Leaders Group at our bi-annual speed mentorship and networking series!

    Catered to emerging and young professionals, this exclusive event will provide the opportunity to meet a hand-selected group of astounded industry experts, each with their own unique trajectories into the urban development industry. Join us to network, explore careers, and learn how accomplished professionals in their chosen field have navigated their own career paths.

    Participants will hear from all panelists before getting the exclusive opportunity to engage with each panelist in a ‘speed-mentoring’ format. The evening will conclude with an informal mix and mingle - light refreshments will be provided.

    Mojo Azzi

    Senior Design Manager, Axiom Builders

    With nearly two decades of experience in the architecture space, Mojo Azzi is a Senior Manager of Design at Axiom Builders. Having transitioned from draftsman and technologist roles to project management, Mojo later followed his passion in the involvement in how buildings come together compared to just the actual design process. With a keen eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving, his skills in BIM management and knowledge of the construction industry have been instrumental in overseeing his current projects; Lansdowne Mall Redevelopment, Harwood x Thurlow, Solhouse 6035, and Barclay x Thurlow.

    Shaun Bromley

    Director for Construction, Anthem Properties

    Shaun Bromley brings over 20 years of construction industry expertise, with 18 years focused on construction management. His portfolio spans private, municipal, provincial, and federal projects, including Convention Centers, Wastewater Treatment Plants, Pump Stations, Bridges, Retaining Walls, High Schools, Airport Facilities, Malls, and prestigious residential developments like the Kengo Kuma Project on Alberni. Enthusiastic about the profound impact construction can have, Shaun values both the process and the relationships cultivated. Currently serving as Director for Construction at Anthem Properties, he oversees the South Yards Master Plan Community Project amongst others collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the developments are completed on time, on vision, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

    Zoe Brook

    Principal, Brook Development Management

    Zoe is a full-spectrum development manager and Principal of Brook Development Management. Her experience is underscored by a $1.5BN, 1,400-unit track record of rental, condominium and transit-oriented masterplan projects with associated affordable housing, retail, office and public uses. Zoe co-chairs the Urban Land Institute BC's Young Leaders Group, a committee of real estate professionals helping to shape the region's conversation in land use planning and development. She also co-chairs the Vancouver Cohort for the 2024 ULI Global Net Zero Imperative.

    Jessica Radziszewska

    Vice President, Enterprise Solutions, PLATFORM Insurance Management Inc

    As the Vice President of Enterprise Solutions at PLATFORM Insurance Management, Jessica leverages expertise in scaling regional market share and re-engineering revenue growth strategies for SaaS businesses, to accelerate PLATFORM's Western Canada expansion. With 12 years of working with real estate developers and project marketing agencies, Jessica's fosters PLATFORM’s growth within the real estate development client sector. PLATFORM is a specialty insurance and bonding brokerage, with deep roots in real estate and construction, recognized for our innovative approach in providing solutions that tackle the growing complexities and volatilities associated with risk management. Our aim is to empower clients with the foundation for protection, growth and strategic advantages in their businesses.

    Taylor Scott

    Director, Construction, Axiom Builders

    Taylor Scott is a seasoned construction professional with over 15 years of experience within the industry. Taylor Scott has successfully managed complex multi-million-dollar projects across various residential, institutional, commercial, and industrial developments in British Columbia and Alberta. Notably, Taylor has played key roles in projects such as the UBC Undergraduate Life Sciences Teaching Laboratories redevelopment, SFU Student Residences Phase 1, and Sawmill. Currently, as a Director of Construction at Axiom Builders, Taylor oversees 4 developments currently under construction and multiple residential projects in various stages of pre-construction through to its project lifecycle.

    Russell Whitehead

    Colliers

    Russell leads the Colliers Planning and Placemaking team based out of Vancouver. Over the years, he has managed development and planning advisory assignments locally, as well as throughout North America, China, and the Middle East. He provides expertise in strategic planning, land capacity analyses, demand modelling, demographic forecasting, and economic placemaking, ultimately with the goal of creating unique and successful destinations within existing urban fabrics.
