The ULI Etkin Scholars Program, made possible by the philanthropic support of Bruce Etkin, introduces college and university students to the resources available through ULI membership and seeks to integrate those students into the ULI path of learning. Through this program, ULI District Councils will identify a cohort of students and provide the students with a welcoming and concrete entrée into ULI knowledge at the local and national level with funding support, free ULI student membership, creative programming, networking, and learning opportunities throughout the academic year of their scholarship. The students supported through this program shall be recognized as Etkin Scholars.
Bruce Etkin, of Etkin Johnson Real Estate Partners, is a ULI Trustee and member of the ULI Foundation board. This generous gift continues Mr. Etkin’s support and passion for the next generation of real estate leaders through ULI’s educational programming. Mr. Etkin is a member of the James Rouse Society.
ULI BC is delighted to take part for it’s 2nd year along with District Councils Atlanta, Baltimore, Charlotte, and Colorado. The 2022-23 school year application opened in September 2022. Download the ULI Etkin Scholars Program here.

• Professor recommendation
• Commitment to the principles of ULI
• Leadership potential
• Commitment to and/or advancement of ULI’s diversity, equity and inclusion goals
Students may apply for additional years as an Etkin Scholar if they continue to meet the program qualifications.
