Salmon-Safe BC, in partnership with BC Transit would like to invite ULI members to join us in a free guided tour around our first certified site on Vancouver Island. On Sept. 26, we announced the successful certification of BC Transit’s HandyDART Site located in View Royal, BC. Two site tours will take place on November 2, 2022, from 11 am-12 pm and 1 pm-2 pm.
The purpose of the site tour is to showcase the incorporation of Salmon-Safe standards into urban development. During the tour, the team will share their experiences during the certification process and sustainability considerations in the overall site design. It will also walk participants through the site to observe some of the innovative green infrastructure and restoration interventions that have taken place.
Spots are limited for each tour so register now at https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/436121249397
